Facebook's New Features: Timeline, Messages, Graph Search

For Facebook Maniacs,

               The Facebook has launched more and more interesting features such as the timeline, graph search and new chat box etc. 

Let us go through these new looks...


Timeline:

The Facebook defines Timeline pretty simple and in short!

         "Tell your life story with a new kind of profile"

It consists of a cover photo, where you can add any images you like and obviously the profile picture is same as before, you can add your pics or any pictures you like. below that, on the left, it shows basic information about the person like where he's from? what he's studying? and so on. On the right, it shows tabs of friends, photos, map, likes, followers, etc. 

Now below this pane, the timeline begins. The current status or pics we uploaded will be the first that anyone can see. As we go down the page, the timeline goes back in time, the things we did in the past. 

Facebook always tries to update in privacy stuffs. Because it matters a lot to everyone especially girls. so no one can misuse their photos or whatever in their profile. 

Not only that, Facebook pages also has the same look. Also, anyone can create a life event, make a status or a photo or a video high lightened or tag people in it, etc. These are simply introduced to make an easy access of things that people think that it is hard to do!  

The Facebook always gives a detailed yet simple and easy explanation for everyone to understand. Here it's simple video that helps us to understand what really Timeline means!

New chat window:

The old view of the message window was like this,

             The problem with the old one was, like you see in the above picture, the messages we sent to different people will be showed like that. we view individual persons messages, we have to click and have to go to the next window to view it. If we need to view many messages of different persons, then we have a problem of going back and forth. I'm sure that your backward and forward buttons will suicide. 

But the new view lets us to avoid this problem. 

Here, both the windows are merged in a single window. so, if you want to see an individual's messages, just simple click on the person on the left pane and the right pane displays the messages. 

Also messaging of photos and files are more simple and fast. 

Simple and Time consuming!

Graph Search:  

This is the recent and also the coolest one too! The look is not changed much. The biggest feature in this graph search is that finding people gets more easy using this.  

Let me first show the look of top bar!

when you click on that search bar, you can type anything that you want to search. 

for example: I want to search for "My friends who lives in chennai, Tamil Nadu"

It gives broader view and very simple way to search out for friends. we can also search for friends who is interested in the field same as you or you can search people who is working in your field or search for photos, likes, pages, etc.
